2. Why We Collect Data
Contractual necessity. To manage your account and bookings.
Legitimate interest. To improve our matching algorithm and prevent fraud.
Consent. For marketing emails, which you can opt out of at any time.
3. AI and Automated Processing
The algorithm. We use Anthropic's Claude AI to match vendors with events (e.g. “AI/ML”, “London”) and to power the Clarity Bot concierge.
The FAQ bot. When you interact with our AI chatbot, it processes your questions and the Organiser's event PDF to provide answers.
Human oversight. You have the right to contest any automated “Match” and can contact us for a human review.
4. Third Parties
We share data with Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI), Vercel (hosting), and HMRC (if legally required for tax).
